WHITNEY MADDOX DYER

Whitney is a former schoolteacher turned attorney. She is dedicated to educating people about the law and resolving complex legal issues. Whitney’s diverse upbringing in Tennessee and Missouri help her assist struggling individuals pull themselves forward, to a more prosperous time.
Whitney is the great-granddaughter of an Alabama share-cropper, and holds several college degrees. Her academic background includes earning a political science degree from Miles College, a master's degree in secondary education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a law degree from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law.
As a member of the Alabama Bar, Whitney seeks out opportunities to contribute to the further growth and development of Alabama. In her free time, she enjoys garage sales, cooking, and reading about Alabama politics.
